Namastay Well was created by two Boston-based fitness instructors, Africa Rubio and Jen Martin. They created Namastay Well to connect with their students and share their love for health and wellness. Africa and Jen spend most of their time teaching fitness classes and coaching people to a healthier lifestyle. They strongly believe in balance; balance with food, daily movement, and self-care.
Their mission is help guide you to a healthier lifestyle through movement and mindful eating.
"I’m Africa Rubio, and yes, my name is really Africa. I’m a Fitness instructor and health coach, originally from Madrid, Spain. I moved to Boston when I was 21 years old. I went to school for psychology, however I was always passionate about health and wellness. Soon after graduating, I decided to change my career path and become a health coach. I’m currently working on a Hormone Health and Gut Health certification with IIN. I believe food is medicine and what you fuel your body with will not only heal your body, but your mind and spirit as well.
I’m a Yoga Sculpt, RYT 200, Yin and ACE GFI certified instructor. I became a teacher because I wanted to share with others how much yoga and fitness had empowered me to feel like my best self. I teach around the city of Boston and now I’m available for virtual group and individual training and classes."
"I’m Jen and I have been living in Boston for the past six years. I grew up in a small town in CT and made my way to Boston after high school. I attended college at Suffolk University to play soccer and obtain my Bachelor’s in Marketing & Business Management. I always had such a passion for working out and staying fit not only for my physical health, but mental health as well.
